PANNA COTTA with strawberries - so easy and delicious!

Panna cotta is an elegant Italian custard that's silky smooth, and melt-in-your-mouth creamy. The macerated strawberries are just the cherry on top! It's a combination that can't be beaten for an easy yet luxurious dessert — right at home.

If you haven’t had panna cotta before though, it’s a classic Italian dessert that cooks cream, gelatin, and sugars together, then chills overnight. This combination gives the custard a slightly firm, yet delicate and creamy texture with a hint of sweet vanilla. And while it may be classified as a decadent dessert, I'm here to show you that making panna cotta is really quite simple! Plus, there's just something about mini desserts that brings me joy.

00:30 Panna cotta ingredients. Use gelatin, not collagen!
01:30 Bring the cream, milk, and honey to a simmer.
02:26 Add the vanilla, salt, and bloomed gelatin. Whisk until the gelatin is fully dissolved.
03:22 The different types of ramekins you can use.
04:10 Pour the cream mixture into the ramekins and chill.
05:08 Slice the strawberries and macerate with maple syrup.
05:56 Remove the panna cotta from the fridge and invert onto a plate.
06:58 Top with the macerated strawberries.
07:53 Taste test
