This is a topic that comes up a lot and really I want to simplify it.

There is a difference between OVER hyperextending your back and hips forward and contracting your muscles!

When you over hyper you will cause a lot of strain on your lower back and it will cause soreness! When you are contracting you are focusing on controlling your rep and controlling your negatives.

It’s all about the quality of your reps not just doing the reps! I hope this helps
